PEOPLE TRANSITIONING FROM HOMELESSNESS
We work closely with our agency partners to understand and address the needs of marginalized individuals and families. Since launching in 2016, we have delivered furniture to thousands of people throughout our community.
THOUSANDS OF PIECES OF FURNITURE
We are delivering thousands of pieces of furniture to our clients including sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, lamps and beds, helping them off the cold floor and providing children a healthier start in life. With the furniture we provide, BAFB clients begin to enjoy the psychological, physical, and economic benefits of having a comfortably furnished home.
THE POWER OF COMMUNITY
We rely on the ongoing support of the volunteers in our community who help us continue our mission. By participating in team-building activities and our signature Buy and Build program, our volunteers experience first-hand the impact of our organization, while giving back in a meaningful and tangible way. We couldn’t do it without them.
Environmental Impact
By redirecting furniture to families in our community, BAFB is efficiently and inexpensively extending the life of household furniture. By doing this, not only are we helping those in need, our work also has a significant impact on preserving the environment by diverting furniture that would otherwise end up in landfill. BAFB actively participates in the circular economy which supports the long term usability of goods.
